Fashion rental marketplace

We helped to build the basic version of a fashion rental mobile app for people who want to wear new stuff without buying. Through the app, users can take a snap and upload their products for rent and share their clothes and accessories, make money, and build a clothing community.

Requirement

Make the fashion rental very normal, by incorporating a means that drives steady and continuous involvement of loaners and borrowers. A way that is convenient to upload fashion stuff for the loaners.

Solution we provided

As the targeted user base here is more of common people using on a regular basis, a mobile app which is installed on their phone is preferred and we designed this mobile app to make loaners and borrowers to use the platform from wherever they are on their phone.

We suggested a hybrid mobile app which can be installed on both Android & iOS devices. There is an admin panel for the admin team to monitor the orders, see the products, their analytics and resolve customer queries. The front-end is built on react-native, backend API and database on NodeJS, deploying the application on the Amazon AWS server. The app will be deployed on the Apple App store & Google Play.

Impact?

A sharing economy which reduces wastage of products bought unnecessarily. This app makes it even easier for anyone to rent items without hassle. This contributes to the reduce-reuse-recycle culture.
